Flow is a Pomodoro-style focus timer. Pick a mode — Pomodoro, Short Break or Long Break — hit Start, and Flow counts down while you work or rest. When a session finishes, Flow plays your chosen sound, and you're free to start the next one. Everything else — themes, fonts, sounds, ambient effects and music — is there to help you build a rhythm that actually feels good to sit down and use.
Flow saves everything — your settings, themes, and session history — directly on this device using your browser's built-in IndexedDB storage. Nothing is sent to a server, and nobody but you can see it. This also means your data is genuinely private, but it comes with a trade-off: it only exists in this browser, on this device.
If you clear your browser's site data or cookies, use private/incognito mode, switch browsers, or wipe your device, your Flow data will be erased and can't be recovered. Some browsers also occasionally clear old site storage automatically to free up space. Because Flow is still early-stage and doesn't yet have accounts or a backend, this local-only approach is the only option for now — so please treat it as something that can disappear if you switch browsers or devices.
Down the line, donations will help fund a real backend with user profiles and cross-device sync, so your history stays safe no matter what happens to any one browser. Until then, treat Flow as a lightweight local tool tied to this browser.
